The residence of the Spanish embassy

Promenades architecturales du dimanche

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain is housed in two buildings constructed in 1921 by the famous Luxembourg architect Georges Traus. The first inhabitants of the two buildings were closely linked to the country's steel industry. From 1922 to 1930, the French legation occupied No. 6. The Spanish diplomatic representation set up its consulate there in 1965. In 1980, the embassy also incorporated the residence of Dr Auguste Schumacher. Take a tour of the magnificent salons of the embassy.
